Three Party Builds That Carried Me Through Emberfall Saga
Emberfall Saga gives you more companions than you can field at once, and it's tempting to swap them constantly. I did that for hours before realizing I was fighting the game instead of playing it. Once I committed to a few reliable builds, the harder fights got a lot smoother.
My go-to is a defensive core: the healer up front, a tanky guardian soaking hits, and a slow but heavy damage dealer in the back. It's not flashy, but it survives long fights where a glass-cannon team would fall apart. Stamina management is the whole game here, and this build gives you room to breathe.
For faster clears I run a burst team, stacking speed buffs and hitting hard in the opening turns. It's risky against bosses with big counterattacks, so I keep it for regular encounters and grinding.
The third build is a control setup, leaning on status effects to lock enemies down. It's slow to learn but incredibly satisfying once the pieces line up, and it trivializes a couple of otherwise nasty story fights.
Whatever you pick, invest in it. The game rewards depth over variety, and a well-understood team beats a perfectly optimized one you don't really know how to use.
